On September 9 and September 11, the University welcomed the arrival of more than 4600 class-2021 undergraduate freshmen . With the cooperation of all functional departments of the University and the careful organization of all schools, all welcoming staff left a beautiful and unforgettable impression on the new arrivals with warm and thoughtful preparation and fast and convenient on-site service. The 2021 reception work was successfully completed in an atmosphere of "responsibility, safety, sincerity and smoothness".

As of the evening of September 12, a total of 4630 freshmen have successfully completed their registration, and the reception work of CQUST for 2021 has come to a conclusion. Subsequently, all full-time and part-time counselors will continue to make themselves available in the dormitories and classrooms, to offer their support for the new-comers in their transition , and to help them kick-start the "first lesson" of freshman education.
